A double-entry ledger fed by every booking

What the module does
The general ledger records journals with their journal lines, and every journal can be opened in detail. Bookings, payments and settlements post to it, so the books follow the operation instead of being re-entered.
Finance manages company cash and gateway accounts: transfers, withdrawals, custody and a ledger view per account. Payouts from your payment services are synced, drift and declines are detected, and payouts are confirmed or reversed, never deleted.
Key features
Journals and lines
Post journals to the general ledger with full journal-line detail.
Double-entry
Every posting balances, in multiple currencies.
Cash and gateway accounts
Transfer, withdraw and hold custody, with a ledger view per account.
Payout sync
Sync payouts, detect drift and declines, and confirm or reverse them.
Reversible, not deleted
Settlements and payouts are reversed, so history is never lost.
Do we re-enter bookings into the books?
No. Journals are posted to the general ledger from the same data model as bookings and payments.
How are payouts reconciled?
Payouts are synced from your payment services, drift and declines are flagged, and each payout is confirmed or reversed.
Can a posted payout be deleted?
No. Payouts and settlements are reversed rather than deleted, so the audit trail stays complete.
